I have worked for the University of Exeter for 18 years. I believe that research questions are more important than specific epistemologies/methodologies and thus undertake wide reaching positivist and interpretive research. My primary research interests are the broad area of how audit and financial reporting can help secure responsible and sustainable corporate governance. My research interests focus on
1. organization structure, choice, competition, regulation and pricing;
2. financial reporting disclosure and valuation and
3. the role of human, social and economic capital on corporate governance and corporate performance.
